Alinea Restaurant UI/UX
Alinea is an award winning and Michelin star restaurant based in Chicago, serving multi-course experiential meals. This personal project was initiated after seeing the restaurant featured on Netflix’s Chef’s Table. Navigating their original website, it was challenging to find information for reservations, menu descriptions, and general info about the restaurant. In an effort to practice designing for user experience, this website redesign is driven by the need for clearly communicated information without sacrificing high-impact cuisine visuals through immersive interface for their target clientele.
In consideration of Alinea’s customer usage of the site, it has been optimized to be reactive for multiple screen sizes paired with a mobile version for quick, on-the-go reservation access.
The wireframe prototype for the website was built using Adobe XD and Photoshop for image editing.
